BTOB Members Choose Not to Renew Contracts with Cube Entertainment

11-Year Partnership between Boy Band and Agency Comes to an End

Cube Entertainment announced that the members of the boy band BTOB have opted not to renew their exclusive contracts with the agency, concluding an 11-year partnership.

In a press release, Cube Entertainment stated that extensive discussions took place with each member before the expiration of their second exclusive contracts. Ultimately, both parties reached an agreement to not renew the contracts.

The agency expressed its support and well wishes for the future growth and endeavors of the BTOB members, despite the conclusion of their journey together. Cube Entertainment also extended gratitude to the boy band's dedicated fanbase for their unwavering support.

BTOB, which made its debut in March 2012 under Cube Entertainment, initially consisted of six members: Seo Eun-kwang, Lim Hyun-sik, Yook Sung-jae, Lee Chang-sub, Lee Min-hyuk, and Peniel. The group is renowned for its hit songs, including "Missing You" (2017), "Only One for Me" (2018), and "Beautiful Pain" (2018). Their most recent release was the 12th EP titled "Wind and Wish," which came out on May 2.
