NiziU, the popular Japanese girl group, is set to release its second studio album, "Coconut," on July 19, according to an announcement by JYP Entertainment on Wednesday. The LP comes more than 1 1/2 years after the release of their first album, "U," and is said to be infused with a summer vibe, as suggested by the teaser photograph featuring a lush green forest.

In addition to the album release, NiziU will also be embarking on their second tour from July 1. The tour will include 15 concerts in seven cities across Japan, including Tokyo, Osaka, Hiroshima, and Sapporo, and will run until September 3.

NiziU, which consists of nine members, has quickly gained a following since their debut in 2020, with their catchy music and vibrant performances. The group's pre-debut EP, which featured their hit single "Make You Happy," recently surpassed 300 million streams on Oricon, making them the first female act to reach this milestone on the chart with a single song.

Fans of NiziU are eagerly anticipating the upcoming album and tour, and the group's agency is expecting a strong response from their fans. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the group has managed to maintain their momentum and continue to grow their fanbase.

The announcement of the new album and tour is an exciting development for NiziU and their fans, and is expected to further solidify their position as one of Japan's top girl groups. With their infectious energy and catchy music, NiziU is poised for continued success in the years to come.
