V of BTS secured the No. 65 position on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart with his latest single, “Fri(end)s,” as per the most recent chart update published in the US on Tuesday.

This marks V's fourth entry on the Hot 100 chart. Previous entries include "Christmas Tree" from a drama original soundtrack, as well as "Love Me Again" and "Slow Dancing," which served as the pre-release and main tracks from his debut solo album, "Layover."

Despite currently fulfilling his military duty, V released the digital single "Fri(end)s" on March 15. The song has achieved success globally, topping the iTunes top songs chart in 98 regions. Additionally, it debuted at No. 13 on the UK’s Official singles chart and secured the No. 7 spot on Spotify’s daily top songs global chart, setting new records for V as a solo artist.
