Space Munjeong is presenting MY TINY ROOM 2026, a two-person exhibition featuring Kim Dong-gi and Yukako Manabe, through Nov. 15.

The exhibition is the sixth project held by the Seoul gallery in 2026. It brings together two artists who use printmaking as the basis of their respective practices while experimenting beyond the conventional limitations of the medium.

MY TINY ROOM is an exhibition series shaped around Space Munjeong’s architectural setting. The gallery occupies a converted residential building, allowing each artist’s practice to unfold within the space as though it were a personal room.

In this edition, Kim and Manabe begin with traditional printmaking techniques but extend their work through different materials and production methods. Rather than treating printmaking solely as a process for reproducing images, the exhibition considers how carving, transferring, layering and material experimentation can develop into independent visual languages.

The domestic structure of the gallery also affects how the works are encountered. Instead of following the neutral layout of a conventional exhibition hall, visitors move through a space that retains the scale and divisions of a house. The format places the two artists’ works in close relation to the architecture while preserving the distinctions between their individual practices.

MY TINY ROOM 2026 runs through Nov. 15 at Space Munjeong, located on the basement level of 42 Hoenamu-ro 26-gil in Yongsan District, Seoul.

The gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. No separate opening reception will be held.
