Netflix’s "Squid Game" has officially announced the final chapter of its global phenomenon. On January 30, the production team revealed the first official poster for "Squid Game 3," along with its worldwide release date—June 27, 2024.

The poster features one of the series’ most haunting visuals: a deceased contestant being carried away in a coffin wrapped with a pink ribbon, a chilling callback to the brutal nature of the game. The massive shadow of "Chul Soo," the male counterpart to the iconic robot doll "Young Hee," looms in the background, sparking curiosity about the new deadly trials that await.

Newly released stills show Gi Hun (Lee Jung Jae) and the surviving players after their failed rebellion. Gi Hun is seen handcuffed, glaring at someone with intense resolve, while Front Man (Lee Byung Hun) once again dons his black mask, teasing a deeper power struggle.

Other key figures, including Hyun Joo (Park Sung Hoon), Yong Sik (Yang Dong Geun), Geum Ja (Kang Ae Shim), and Jun Hee (Cho Yu Ri), appear devastated, mourning the loss of their fallen allies. Meanwhile, Pink Guard "No Eul" (Park Gyu Young) is shown outside the game arena, her mask removed, hinting at a potential inner conflict.

"Squid Game 3" will depict the final confrontation between Gi Hun, Front Man, and the last remaining contestants. After Season 2 explored Gi Hun’s direct clash with the game’s organizers, the upcoming season will focus on the psychological dilemmas faced by the survivors as they reach a turning point in their fate.

A Netflix representative stated, "Director Hwang Dong Hyuk has created a grand finale with 'Squid Game 3.' This season will question whether, even in a world of extreme brutality, a shred of humanity can still remain."

The series has already established its record-breaking dominance on Netflix. Upon release, "Squid Game 2" became the most-watched Netflix series in its premiere week, and within just 18 days, it ranked as the third most popular Netflix title of all time.

With the final installment set for June 27, anticipation is at an all-time high as fans prepare to witness the ultimate showdown in the deadly world of ‘Squid Game’.
