The National Asian Culture Center will host a photography exhibition by Koo Bohnchang, titled "The Look of Things," from the 22nd of this month through March 30, 2025.
This exhibition will showcase 161 pieces, including photos, videos, and installations, as well as 50 objects from Koo's collection, highlighting the pioneering Korean contemporary photographer.
Koo’s work captures the essence of his subjects with meticulous detail, conveying not only a record but also the history and emotions embedded within each object.
Emphasizing Korean identity and Eastern sensibilities, Koo visually expresses cultural narratives through the portrayal of objects.
In this exhibition, where everyday objects like soap and empty boxes reveal facets of life, visitors are expected to experience a fresh perspective.
