This achievement marks a new record for Twice, demonstrating their global popularity. "I Got You" is the group's third English-language song, following "The Feels" and "Moonlight Sunrise." The 2021 release, "The Feels," made a notable debut on Billboard's Hot 100, entering at No. 83, while "Moonlight Sunrise" from the previous year secured the No. 84 position on the chart.

Ahead of the official release, Twice introduced the new song during their concert in Mexico City, which saw a sold-out audience. This concert is part of their fifth international tour, with upcoming stops in Sao Paulo this week and Las Vegas next month. The anticipation for Twice's 13th EP continues to grow as they captivate audiences both domestically and internationally with their chart-topping success.
