Fantagio, the agency representing the late ASTRO member Moonbin, announced the closure of a memorial space dedicated to the K-pop star. Moonbin, known for his role as a dancer and vocalist, passed away on April 19 at the age of 25.
The memorial, initially situated at Gukcheong Temple near Seoul, recently relocated to Seonun Temple in Gochang, North Jeolla Province, triggering speculation among fans.

The agency cited considerations for the sentiments expressed by AROHA (ASTRO's official fandom) as the reason for the closure. The decision to move the memorial space to a venue farther from Seoul than the original location was made six months after its establishment, drawing criticism and allegations of a business agreement between Fantagio and Seonun Temple in September.
Fantagio denied these accusations, clarifying that there were no agreements, contracts, or financial interests with Seonun Temple. The agency stated that the decision to move the memorial space was driven by safety concerns for winter visitors and the desire for a permanent resting place for Moonbin.
The statement debunked rumors of financial gain through Seonun Temple's temple stay program, emphasizing that allegations of financial profit from organizing a temple stay were entirely false. Fantagio asserted that their intentions were solely based on consideration for the fans.
In an appeal to fans' understanding, the agency emphasized that its executives and employees dedicated several days to recreating the space at Seonun Temple to honor Moonbin. Fantagio discouraged false distortions and instigations targeting its employees.
