Itzy, the girl group set to kick off the new year with a new album and world tour, has generated excitement with the release of the first teaser image for their upcoming album.

Titled "Born To Be," the album is scheduled for release on January 8 and comprises 10 songs, with the title track being "Untouchable." The teaser image, showcased on the group's official website, showcases the members in warrior-like poses against a vibrant red and blue backdrop.

A notable feature of the album is the inclusion of solo songs, each written and composed by the respective members. Yeji's contribution is "Crown On My Head," Ryujin presents "Run Away," Chaeryeong contributes "Mine," Lia's solo is titled “Blossom,” and Yuna will perform "Yet, but."

In tandem with the album release, Itzy is gearing up for their second world tour, also titled "Born To Be," scheduled for February 24 and 25 at Jamsil Gymnasium in Songpa-gu, Seoul. The group achieved success with their first world tour, "Checkmate," in 2022, covering eight U.S. cities and seven Asian countries.

However, it was announced last month that Lia will not be participating in the tour or related activities for the new album due to health reasons. The agency revealed Lia's diagnosis of an anxiety disorder, stating that she is currently undergoing focused treatment.
