Netflix has announced that the romantic comedy series "Doctor Slump," featuring Park Shin-hye and Park Hyung-sik, debuted at No. 1 on its weekly chart for non-English TV series. The show, produced by JTBC, accumulated a total of 2.9 million views from January 29 to February 4, securing the top spot in nine countries, including Hong Kong and Malaysia.

"Doctor Slump" revolves around two high school friends who reunite after 14 years, finding unexpected comfort in each other during life's challenges.

In a separate category, the dystopian action film "Badland Hunters," starring Ma Dong-seok, also known as Don Lee, maintained its No. 1 position for two consecutive weeks on Netflix's non-English movie list, garnering a total of 18.1 million views. Notably, the movie was the most-watched film, surpassing both non-English and English titles, on the streaming platform during the mentioned timeframe.
