Dino of Seventeen has unveiled his inaugural solo mixtape, titled "Wait," which was released on Monday. The artist, who actively participated in crafting the mixtape, contributed to both the lyrics and melodies.

In a statement through agency Pledis Entertainment, Dino expressed his happiness in realizing a long-held dream of publishing a solo song. Describing the process of putting the mixtape together as enjoyable from start to finish, he acknowledged that this venture marked the fulfillment of another personal aspiration.

The goal of the solo project was to showcase a new facet of Dino characterized by soft yet firm qualities and a mysterious charm. Dino emphasized the significance of his vocal tone and characteristics for a complete appreciation of the song.
