CNBLUE Returns to Korean Stage After Six Years with 'CNBLUENTITY' Concert

Rock Band CNBLUE, Now a Trio, Gears Up for a Spectacular Homecoming Performance

FNC ENTERTAINMENT

In a much-anticipated revival, the acclaimed rock band CNBLUE is set to grace the Korean concert scene for the first time in six years, announced FNC Entertainment, the band's agency, on Friday.

Dubbed as "CNBLUENTITY," this eagerly awaited concert by the boy band will take center stage at the prestigious Olympic Hall in Seoul's Songpa District on October 7th and 8th. The upcoming event marks six years since CNBLUE's last homebound concert, "Between Us," held in Korea back in 2017. An added layer of excitement stems from the fact that this will be the group's inaugural Korean concert as a three-member ensemble.

Priority ticket sales for the concert will kick off on Wednesday, exclusively catering to loyal fan club members. General ticket sales will commence on September 1st, opening the doors for a wider audience to secure their spots.

The history of CNBLUE dates back to their debut as a four-member rock sensation in 2010, capturing hearts with their debut EP "Bluetory" and the chart-topping anthem "Loner." However, their journey was not confined to Korean shores alone, as the quartet unveiled a series of indie albums in Japan before making waves with their Korean releases.

A pivotal juncture arrived in 2019 when former member Lee Jong-hyun exited the band amidst allegations linked to the Burning Sun scandal, along with allegations of inappropriate messages on Instagram. The band subsequently redefined its identity as a triumphant trio, heralding a new era with the launch of their 8th EP "Re-Code" in 2020, followed by their 9th EP "Wanted" in 2021, alongside a slew of Japanese singles in the years 2021 and 2022.

As CNBLUE takes the stage once again, fans and critics alike await what promises to be an unforgettable homecoming performance, brimming with the indelible energy and musical prowess that have defined the band's remarkable journey.
