Actor Bae Doo-na, known for her role as sword master Nemesis in the Netflix original "Rebel Moon -- Part Two: The Scargiver," shared insights into her involvement with the project during a press conference in Seoul.
Director Zack Snyder, recognized for his work on "Justice League" and "300," emphasized the incorporation of Korean identity into Bae's character, Nemesis.
Bae revealed that while the original script depicted Nemesis wearing a 'satgat' made of bamboo, Snyder opted to outfit her with a 'gat,' a horsehair hat associated with elite men during the Joseon era. She expressed excitement and pride in wearing the gat.

"Rebel Moon -- Part Two: The Scargiver" continues the narrative of Kora and her warriors as they fight against the Motherworld.
Bae, who made her Hollywood debut in 2012 with "Cloud Atlas," is recognized as one of the first-generation Korean actors to pursue a career in Hollywood. She has engaged in multiple Netflix projects.
Regarding her approach to international roles, Bae mentioned prioritizing roles that allow her to express herself effectively, focusing on realism rather than imitation of other cultures.
"Rebel Moon -- Part Two: The Scargiver" is set to premiere on Netflix.
