Hanni herself later addressed the situation, stating that there may have been a misunderstanding. She clarified that about a year ago, in a casual conversation with a manager who has since left the company, she mentioned her desire to resume Korean classes. However, the conversation was taken lightly, and she did not pursue it further. Hanni expressed regret for any confusion caused.
Additionally, ADOR addressed rumors about NewJeans member Hyein's dental procedures. The agency emphasized that academic and privacy-related decisions are personal matters for the members and asserted that the company does not make such decisions on their behalf. Regarding Hyein's dental program, ADOR clarified that it was initiated before she joined the agency as a trainee, with parental consent. The program aimed to improve dental alignment while preserving existing teeth and was not akin to dental laminates.
In its statement, ADOR underscored its commitment to recognizing the members' significant personal growth beyond their entertainment activities. The agency emphasized the importance of NewJeans' journey encompassing various aspects of their daily lives and highlighted its dedication to supporting their holistic development.
This official response from ADOR aims to dispel speculations and provide clarity on the educational and health-related aspects surrounding NewJeans members.
