In an eagerly anticipated convergence of talent and entertainment, BTS member V is poised to grace the widely acclaimed variety show "Running Man" on SBS. Drawing from V's track record of captivating television appearances, the prospect of his participation has ignited fervent excitement among fans and viewers alike.

Confirmed by the Hankook Ilbo on Tuesday, V's participation in an episode of "Running Man" was successfully concluded on Monday. The highly anticipated episode is slated to air on September 10th.

Notably, V is the second BTS member to be invited as a guest on the show, following Jin's appearance last October, shortly before his military enlistment. Jin's presence garnered significant attention, amassing over 600,000 views for the teaser on YouTube within four days. The episode itself secured a nationwide viewership rating of 4.8 percent, according to Nielsen Korea.

Adding to the allure of V's upcoming appearance is his deep admiration for "Running Man" host and comedian Yoo Jae-suk. This admiration further intensifies expectations surrounding V's appearance, especially after V expressed his envy for Yoo Jae-suk's illustrious broadcasting career during BTS's appearance on tvN's talk show "You Quiz on the Block," also hosted by Yoo Jae-suk.

Amid this TV venture, V is poised to unveil his inaugural solo album, titled "Layover," on September 8th, marking the final solo project among BTS's seven members.

"I'm feeling a mix of nerves and excitement. This album truly encapsulates my essence, offering fans ample enjoyment," V shared. "Anticipate something special. As a solo artist, you'll glimpse facets of me that differ from my identity within BTS."

Notably, V's forthcoming album is a result of a creative collaboration with Min Hee-jin, CEO of Ador and an esteemed art director behind the creative direction of K-pop sensation NewJeans. V's desire for Min Hee-jin's artistic prowess extends across various domains of his album, including music, choreography, design, and marketing.

The spotlight of V's upcoming album shines on its title track, "Slow Dancing," a romantic soulful composition reminiscent of the 1970s, boasting a tender groove. With a total of six tracks gracing the album, an extraordinary touch is added with five of them accompanied by their individual music videos, elevating the album's immersive experience.

As fans eagerly anticipate the dual spectacles of V's appearance on "Running Man" and the imminent release of his solo album, the convergence of artistry, entertainment, and anticipation remains a testament to BTS's enduring influence on the global stage.
