Ko Woo-rim, a member of the vocal quartet Forestella, has revealed his plans to commence his mandatory military service on November 20. Making the announcement via the group's official fan page on Tuesday, Ko shared, "I will begin my training on Nov. 20, and have been assigned to the military band," assuring fans that he will fulfill his responsibilities and return in good health.

Ko's journey in the limelight began with his victory in the second season of JTBC's audition program "Phantom Singer" (2016–2017) as part of Forestella, a victory he shared with three other talented members. Beyond his musical pursuits, Ko also made headlines for his marriage to figure skater and Olympic medalist Yuna Kim in October of the previous year, following three years of dating.

Prior to his enlistment, Ko is slated to perform in the "2023 Forestella Festival" concert as scheduled, providing an opportunity for fans to see him before his military service begins. The "2023 Forestella Festival" is a solo show hosted by the group annually for the past two years and is set to take place on October 14 and 15 at the Seoul Olympic Park.
