K-pop artist G-Dragon, booked without detention in connection with a recent drug bust in Gangnam, Seoul, is pursuing legal action against individuals responsible for malicious comments. Legal representative Kim Soo-hyun from law firm K1chamber made the announcement on Wednesday, citing charges of defamation, sexual harassment, and dissemination of false information.

The legal team has gathered evidence through monitoring and fan reports, preparing to file multiple complaints with a zero-tolerance approach. Kim emphasized a commitment to holding the suspects accountable without leniency, taking stern action against the creators of malicious posts.

G-Dragon, whose real name is Kwon Ji-yong, tested negative in a comprehensive narcotics analysis of his nail samples conducted by the National Forensic Service on Tuesday. This followed a drug test conducted by the drug crime investigation unit earlier in the month when he voluntarily underwent police questioning on November 6. The 35-year-old artist consistently denies any involvement in illegal drug use.

In a recent interview with a local media outlet, G-Dragon reiterated his stance, emphasizing that he has never been approached by anyone involved in drugs. He asserted that his chosen methods for relieving stress or loneliness have never involved drug use and will continue to reflect that commitment.
