Scheduled for release on March 26, this marks BoA's return after a hiatus of 16 months since her previous comeback in November 2022 with the release of her third mini album, "Forgive Me."
Notably, BoA has actively participated in the creation of "Emptiness," involving herself in writing the lyrics, composing, and arranging the track, which is characterized by an Afrobeat-based pop sound.

Teasing the upcoming release, BoA's official social media platforms unveiled a teaser image showcasing the artist alongside a male protagonist, both leaning on each other but facing different directions.
Throughout her career, BoA has demonstrated her versatility as an artist by contributing to the composition and lyrics of several songs across various albums. Notable examples include tracks from her seventh full-length album, "Only One," and her third mini-album, "Forgive Me."
