Netflix announced on Wednesday that its Korean revenge thriller series, "The Glory," secured the third position in the global most-watched list for the first half of the year. The Korean original, released on December 30 last year, garnered a total of 622.8 million viewing hours in the initial six months of 2023. "The Night Agent" topped the chart with 812.1 million hours, followed by "Ginny & Georgia" with 665.1 million hours.

Netflix introduced a new biannual report, "What We Watched: A Netflix Engagement Report," on the same day, aiming to provide a more comprehensive overview of viewing habits alongside its weekly Top 10 and Most Popular Lists. The streaming giant highlighted the significance of this initiative, stating that it represents a significant step forward for both Netflix and the industry. The new report is expected to offer creators and the industry deeper insights into audience preferences and resonances.
Several other Korean titles secured spots in the global top 50 most-viewed list, including "Physical: 100" at 21st place, "Crash Course in Romance" at 22nd, "Doctor Cha" at 31st, and "Alchemy of Souls" at 47th.
