In a strategic move, Pledis Entertainment, a key player in the K-pop industry since its establishment in 2005, is set to introduce TWS, a new boy band, on January 22, 2024. Positioned as the next chapter of the highly successful Seventeen, TWS aims to forge a lasting connection with fans, drawing inspiration from its name, "twenty-four-seven with us."

TWS, the first boy band from Pledis in nearly a decade, is also making waves as HYBE Labels' inaugural rookie group for 2024, placing them in the esteemed company of BTS. The agency, known for nurturing iconic groups such as Seventeen, After School, Orange Caramel, NU:EST, and fromis_9, sees TWS as a next-generation group, combining creative prowess and solid infrastructure.

Seventeen, a 13-member boy group that debuted in 2015, has become a prominent force in the K-pop landscape. Their 11th mini album, "SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN," achieved the highest first-week sales among K-pop albums, contributing to a remarkable total of 16 million album sales in 2023.

To replicate Seventeen's success, TWS is gearing up for their debut with the release of the mini album "Sparkling Blue." The pre-release song, "Oh Mymy: 7s," is set to drop on January 2, generating anticipation among fans. Official teasers for TWS will be unveiled on January 17 and 18, accompanied by a pop-up store experience from January 18 to 31. The group plans to engage with fans through a face-to-face showcase after their debut show on Mnet on January 22.

Renowned producer Han Sung-soo, the founder and CEO of Pledis, took the helm of TWS's debut album production, heightening expectations for the group's unique identity. Pledis Entertainment asserts that TWS represents a fusion of distinctive music genres and the individual talents of its members, setting the stage for their journey in the competitive K-pop industry.
