Korea's largest foreigners-only casino, the Inspire Casino, is set to open on Saturday at the Mohegan Inspire Entertainment Resort on Yeongjong Island in Incheon. The casino, exclusive to international visitors, boasts 150 gaming tables, 390 slot machines, and a two-floor, 160-seat electronic table games (ETG) stadium, according to the resort.

Ray Pineault, the CEO of Mohegan, expressed the company's commitment to pioneering a new era of international hospitality with the unveiling of Inspire Casino. He sees this ambitious project as a major milestone in Mohegan's growth as an owner and developer of integrated entertainment resorts, contributing to the economic development of Incheon.
Following the grand opening, Mohegan Inspire plans to expedite its growth by opening the remaining resort facilities by mid-2024. Since being named the resort complex project operator in March 2016, Mohegan Inspire has invested approximately $1.6 billion in completing the first development phase. This venture, led by the Mohegan Tribe, aims to enrich the landscape of Incheon, stimulate economic development, and establish new paradigms in the worldwide entertainment sector.
Chen Si, President of Mohegan Inspire, expressed excitement over the successful completion of the development phase and the acquisition of a permit for an international visitor-only casino business license. The resort plans to play a leading role in supporting and growing the local economy while providing diverse amenities and unique experiences for guests, international tourists, K-pop and K-culture enthusiasts, and casino visitors.
