BTS's "Mic Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)" Music Video Hits 1.4 Billion Views on YouTube

K-pop Sensation Achieves 14th Milestone, Nominated for iHeartRadio Music Award

In a notable achievement, the music video for BTS's 2017 hit song "Mic Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)" has surpassed 1.4 billion views on YouTube, according to an announcement from label Big Hit Music. The track, featured in the fifth EP "LOVE YOURSELF 承 ‘Her’," was remixed by DJ Steve Aoki into an electro trap number, gaining widespread popularity and topping iTunes top songs in 60 regions.

This marks BTS's 14th music video to reach the 1.4 billion-view milestone, joining the ranks of other hits such as "Dynamite," "Boy With Luv (feat. Halsey)," and "DNA." Notably, "Mic Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)" entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 28 and maintained a presence on the chart for 10 consecutive weeks.

In addition to their YouTube success, BTS has received a nomination for the "Best Fan Army" award at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards. The septet has previously secured victory in this category for all six editions since its introduction in 2018.
