K-pop group Ateez has secured the top position on Oricon's weekly combined album ranking with their tenth EP, "Golden Hour: Part 1," according to the chart published on Tuesday. The mini album also maintained the top spot on Oricon’s daily album ranking for three consecutive days last week.

"Golden Hour: Part 1" has achieved significant success on music charts both domestically and internationally. It debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and reached No. 4 on the UK’s Official Albums Chart Top 100. This marks the fourth time Ateez has placed an album within the top three on the Billboard 200, following their second full-length album "The World Ep. Fin: Will," which reached No. 1 last year.

The EP has also topped iTunes' top albums chart in 30 regions and sold over 1.5 million copies in its first week of release, making it the group’s fourth consecutive million-selling album.

Ateez is set to embark on a North American tour next month and will perform in Japan in August, including a scheduled appearance at Summer Sonic 2024.
