In a whirlwind of speculation and uncertainty, rumors have emerged surrounding the future of Lisa, a member of the globally renowned girl group Blackpink, as her exclusive contract with YG Entertainment is rumored to be approaching its expiration in August, according to multiple media reports.

As Blackpink celebrates its seventh anniversary since its debut in 2016, it is widely believed that the quartet's exclusive contract with YG Entertainment will follow the industry standard of seven years and reach its conclusion this August. In South Korea, the recommended maximum length of such contracts was established by the Korea Fair Trade Commission in 2009, advocating for contracts to stay under seven years.

However, recent reports suggest that Lisa and YG Entertainment have been unable to reach an agreement on extending her exclusive contract, citing significant differences in opinion regarding the terms. This alleged impasse has created scheduling difficulties, with agencies struggling to plan future activities due to the uncertainty surrounding Lisa's contract.

Responding to these claims, YG Entertainment stated that the scheduling challenges are unrelated to the contract and instead attributed them to Blackpink's ongoing world tour, "Born Pink," which commenced with electrifying performances at the KSPO Dome in southern Seoul last October. The quartet's last announced concerts are slated to take place in the United States in August.

In the midst of contract speculations, rumors have also emerged surrounding Lisa's personal life. Reports suggest that she is romantically involved with Frédéric Arnault, the CEO of luxury watch company TAG Heuer and the son of Bernard Arnault, the chairman and CEO of LVMH. Videos and photographs of Lisa and Frédéric together in Paris circulated online, prompting various media outlets to report on the alleged relationship.

However, skeptics have pointed out that the photograph in question might have been taken during Lisa's meeting with Celine, an LVMH company, for which she has been serving as a global brand ambassador since 2020. Despite these rumors, YG Entertainment has refrained from issuing an official statement regarding the speculation surrounding Lisa's personal life.

As fans eagerly await clarity on Lisa's future endeavors, the uncertainty surrounding her departure from YG Entertainment and the alleged romantic relationship continues to captivate both supporters and the media.
