K-pop girl group Le Sserafim's English single, "Perfect Night," has made a notable debut on several music charts in the United States and the United Kingdom.
The song was released last Friday and swiftly gained recognition on charts provided by Official Charts, the UK's prominent song data provider. "Perfect Night" entered the singles download chart at No. 44 and secured the 12th position on the independent singles breakers chart, along with reaching No. 52 on the single sales chart, surpassing their previous records on the latter two charts.
On Spotify, one of the world's largest music-streaming platforms, the song reached No. 83 on the daily top song global chart as of last Friday. Additionally, it found a place on the daily top song charts in 15 countries, including the United States, where it achieved a record-high position of No. 119, a notable increase of 26 positions from the previous day.
"Perfect Night" stands as the first original English single by the five-member Le Sserafim. Characterized by a two-step garage genre complemented by guitar riff sounds, the song conveys a message that the essence of a perfect night lies in the company of companions.

The song has garnered global attention, with Le Sserafim featuring it on platforms such as MTV's "Fresh Out Live" and the Grammy Museum's "Global Spin Live." Notably, the group made history by being the first K-pop act to appear on NBC's "Today with Hoda & Jenna" show.
On Sunday, Korean time, Le Sserafim delivered a live performance at "BlizzCon 2023," a major gaming convention hosted by the American game developer Blizzard Entertainment at the Anaheim Convention Center in California. The group's set included seven songs, such as "Antifragile," "Flash Forward," "No Celestial," and "Fire in the Belly."
"Perfect Night" was particularly well-received by the gaming community due to its collaboration with "Overwatch 2," a popular game developed by Blizzard Entertainment, featured in the song's music video.
The performance concluded with the English version of "Eve, Psyche & the Bluebeard’s Wife" and "Unforgiven (feat. Nile Rodgers)."
Le Sserafim, composed of members Kim Chae-won, Sakura, Huh Yun-jin, Kazuha, and Hong Eun-chae, made their debut under Source Music, a part of the Hybe Corporation's multi-label entertainment conglomerate, in May 2022.
