AKMU, the sibling duo known as Akdong Musician, celebrated their 10th anniversary by donating a total of 141 million won ($102,350) to local welfare and environmental institutions, according to their agency, YG Entertainment.
The duo, consisting of Lee Chan-hyuk and Lee Su-hyun, made equal donations of 47 million won each to Green Asia, Severance Hospital, and the Korea Youth Counseling & Welfare Institute (KYCWI) to honor their debut date on April 7. These donations were made as a gesture of gratitude to their fans, who have supported them throughout their musical journey.

According to YG Entertainment, AKMU selected these organizations and causes due to their personal connection to Mongolia, where the siblings spent their childhood, and their desire to assist teenagers facing challenges integrating into society.
AKMU debuted under YG Entertainment in April 2014 with their first album, "Play." In March, in celebration of their 10-year milestone, the duo announced the name of their fan club, Akkademy, and will host two concerts in June to further commemorate the occasion.
