During a hastily convened press conference at the Korea Conference Center in southern Seoul on Thursday, Min Hee-jin, CEO of Hybe sublabel Ador, asserted her innocence in response to allegations made against her by Hybe. She accused the K-pop powerhouse of mismanaging Ador and refuted claims that she attempted to seize control of the label.
Min disputed Hybe's accusations, stating that conversations concerning plans to pressure Hybe and break away from the entertainment conglomerate were merely expressions of personal grievances and frustrations. She maintained that her messages were misinterpreted and rearranged maliciously.
Min's lawyer, Lee Sook-mi, emphasized the impossibility of Min attempting to seize control with her 18 percent stake in Ador, as claimed by Hybe.

Prior to Min's press conference, Hybe claimed to have evidence suggesting that Min had been receiving advice from a shaman on company management matters. Min denied this allegation, stating that the shaman was an acquaintance and her inquiries about BTS' military service were borne out of frustration with Hybe's treatment.
Min also addressed allegations that Illit, a girl group under Hybe sublabel Belift Lab, had copied NewJeans' concept and choreography, attributing the issue to the multilabel governance system of Hybe.
Following the press conference, Hybe filed a complaint with the Yongsan Police Station against Min and Ador's vice president for breach of trust, urging Min to resign immediately. Hybe claimed that Min had manipulated the truth throughout the conference and demonstrated her inability to fulfill her role as CEO.
