A new art exhibition featuring the drawings and watercolors of Marc Maurin, a local art teacher, opened to the public in Les Villettes. The exhibition, titled "Drawings & Watercolors," was officially inaugurated on Saturday, November 29, showcasing approximately thirty works of art in the hall beneath the town hall.
The exhibition features a diverse collection of Marc Maurin's artistic creations, displaying his skills in both drawing and watercolor techniques. All of the displayed artworks are available for purchase, giving visitors the opportunity to take home pieces from the collection. The intimate venue beneath the municipal building provides an appropriate setting for viewing the detailed works.
The exhibition will remain open to the public until Sunday, December 7, giving art enthusiasts and community members several days to visit and appreciate Maurin's work. The artist himself will be present at the exhibition on Sunday, providing visitors with the unique opportunity to meet the creator and potentially discuss his artistic process and inspiration behind the displayed pieces.
Marc Maurin has established a notable connection with the local community beyond this exhibition. Since 2021, he has been contributing his artistic talents to the municipal bulletin of Les Villettes, creating sketches that capture various aspects of the commune. This ongoing collaboration demonstrates his commitment to documenting and celebrating the local community through his artistic perspective.
