The MMA, hosted by Melon, South Korea’s leading music streaming platform, is renowned for its data-driven approach to recognizing the accomplishments of artists. Winners are determined through a combination of Melon’s usage data, expert evaluation, and fan votes. The awards serve as a key platform to celebrate K-pop's influence while forecasting its future direction.

This year’s theme, New Stream of K-POP, reflects the industry’s evolving landscape, showcasing both established icons and rising stars. The slogan underscores the MMA’s commitment to highlighting K-pop’s dynamic nature and its global impact.

Scheduled for November 30, the ceremony will begin at 5 PM and take place at the Inspire Arena in Incheon, sponsored by KakaoBank. As one of Korea’s premier music award events, the MMA is expected to draw significant attention from fans and industry insiders alike.

The inclusion of such a wide range of presenters, from actors and singers to influencers and comedians, demonstrates the MMA’s unique position as a cultural touchstone that bridges music, entertainment, and broader pop culture. With Lee Je Hoon and others leading the way, the event promises to be both a celebration of talent and a reflection of K-pop's expansive reach.
