In a novel approach, the band will unveil an "AI briefing" for each member in anticipation of the single's launch. The series will kick off with member BX on Friday. The use of AI technology in these briefings aims to present the band's concepts and messages in an innovative manner, as stated by the agency.

CIX, debuting in 2019 under C9 Entertainment, consists of five members: BX, Seunghun, Bae Jin-young, Yonghee, and Hyunsuk. Notable releases from the group include songs like "Cinema" (2021), "Wave" (2021), "458" (2022), "Without You" (2022), and "Save me, Kill me" (2023).

The band embarked on its second world tour, "Save me, Kill me," covering Europe, the United States, and Japan in the first half of 2023. Additionally, CIX held its first in-person fan meet and greets in Korea on Aug. 19 and Aug. 20, followed by Japanese fan meet-and-greets in September 2023. The upcoming single release adds to the band's ongoing musical journey and global presence.
