EA has announced the nominees for the EA SPORTS FC 25 Team of the Year (TOTY), showcasing some of the world’s top male and female footballers. Voting for the prestigious TOTY XI has officially begun and will run until January 13 at 5 PM KST, allowing fans to decide the final team lineup.
The TOTY campaign celebrates players who delivered exceptional performances over the past year. Male nominees include global stars like Jude Bellingham, the cover athlete of EA SPORTS FC 25, Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung Min, and Real Madrid’s Vinícius Júnior. Rising talents such as Cole Palmer (Chelsea), Lamine Yamal (Barcelona), and Nico Williams (Athletic Club) are also among the 85 shortlisted players.
On the women’s side, more than 70 players have been nominated, including Aitana Bonmatí (Barcelona), the cover star of the FC 25 Ultimate Edition, along with Alexandra Popp (Wolfsburg) and Lauren James (Chelsea). These athletes represent the pinnacle of women’s football and reflect the sport’s growing global appeal.
Fans can cast their votes for both the men’s and women’s TOTY XI through dedicated links provided on the EA SPORTS FC official website. The final results will highlight the players who earned recognition from both their peers and the global football community.
To commemorate the TOTY campaign, EA is hosting the EA TOTY 2025 Voting Certification Event until January 13 at 4:59 PM KST.
