KAIST Art Museum Opens with Lee Seung Taek's Donated Works on Display

The KAIST Art Museum has officially opened, showcasing donated works by world-renowned media artist Nam June Paik and Korea's experimental art pioneer, Lee Seung Taek.

KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) established the museum with funds donated by the late Jung Moon-sul, the founder of Mirae Industry.

To celebrate its opening, the museum is holding a permanent exhibition featuring works donated by Lee Seung Taek, an artist gaining global recognition.

The exhibition presents 33 pieces, including his iconic work “Earth Play.”

The museum director stated plans to continue exhibiting experimental works that explore the convergence of science, technology, and cultural arts.
