South Korea Leads Southeast Asia’s Art Market with the Successful Launch of Access Bangkok Art Fair

From December 4 to 7, the first international art fair in Bangkok, organized by the Korean art agency AML, was successfully held.

Access Bangkok 2024 served as a unique opportunity to showcase the potential of Southeast Asia’s art market and the advanced systems of Korean art fairs.

The fair focused on quality over scale, featuring 12 major Korean galleries and 9 Thai galleries.

Notably, the Korean online art platform ARTUE introduced an AI-powered, sustainable online viewing room, highlighting cutting-edge digital capabilities.

The Embassy of South Korea in Thailand remarked that this event, held in Bangkok, a city visited by approximately 30 million tourists annually, has opened a new chapter in cultural collaboration between Korea and Thailand.
