Details regarding the plot and additional cast members of "My Youth" remain undisclosed, and there is a possibility that the drama's title may undergo changes during the production process, according to local reports.

Notably, "My Youth" also signifies Song Joong-ki's first project since embracing fatherhood last year. The screenplay for the drama will be penned by screenwriter Park Si-hyun, known for the JTBC drama "Run On" (2021), with Song's agency High Zium Studio involved in the pre-production process.

In 2022, Song garnered attention for his role in the Cannes-invited film "Hopeless," where he chose to participate without receiving payment. His outstanding performance earned him a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the prestigious Blue Dragon Film Awards.

Song Joong-ki's upcoming projects include the Netflix film "My Name is Loh Kiwan," scheduled for release in the first half of this year, and "Bogota," the release date of which is still under discussion.

The actor, known for his roles in acclaimed works like "Descendants of the Sun" (2016), "Arthdal Chronicles" (2019-2023), and "Reborn Rich," married English actor Katy Louise Saunders in January of last year.
