Supercell, the renowned mobile gaming company, is set to host the 2024 World Finals for three of its flagship games—Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, and Brawl Stars—simultaneously in Helsinki, Finland, from November 1 to 3. This marks the first time in Supercell’s history that all three world championships will be held together in the same city, creating an unprecedented gaming event dubbed 2024 Super Fest.
The decision to bring these world finals together follows last year's success when Clash of Clans and Clash Royale were held in Helsinki, while Brawl Stars took place in Jönköping, Sweden. By uniting the finals of all three games under one roof this year, Supercell aims to provide fans with an unparalleled gaming experience, building excitement among its global audience.
The tournament will feature the top teams and players who secured their spots through Supercell's rigorous global competitions held from spring to autumn 2024. Standout teams include NAVI (Natus Vincere) in Clash of Clans, featuring members from 2022’s champion team QW Stephanie. In Clash Royale, Mohamed Light, the champion from 2022, will defend his title, while in Brawl Stars, last year's victors, Zeta Division, will return to the stage, drawing immense interest from fans worldwide.
Supercell has planned extensive live coverage of the event through YouTube, ensuring fans from around the world can follow the intense competition. The event will also be live-streamed in various languages, with popular content creators hosting streams for each game. In Korea, Clash of Clans will be streamed by creators "빠다" and "재진COC," Clash Royale by "의찬 TV" and "헤마군CR," and Brawl Stars by "시로Siro." This ensures that fans will have full access to real-time action, bringing the excitement of the finals directly to their screens.
The total prize pool for the 2024 World Finals stands at a staggering $2.25 million (approximately KRW 3.1 billion), distributed across the three games: $500,000 for Clash Royale, $750,000 for Clash of Clans, and $1 million for Brawl Stars. With Brawl Stars witnessing an increase in its prize pool this year, the competition is expected to be fiercer than ever, with teams vying for their share of these enormous rewards.
In addition to the tournament itself, Supercell has planned a variety of interactive events for fans watching the live streams. Viewers can participate in real-time prediction contests and quizzes, earning in-game rewards. Moreover, domestic fans can join special viewing events through Supercell’s official community, with the chance to win exclusive game merchandise and gift cards. These fan-focused initiatives are expected to boost engagement and create a more immersive experience throughout the event.
Last year’s finals saw Mugi win the Clash Royale championship, while Clash of Clans was dominated by Clash Champs, and Zeta Division claimed victory in Brawl Stars. This year’s competition is poised to introduce new stars and highlight the top talent from around the world, as fans eagerly await to see who will rise to the top in 2024.
A Supercell representative stated, “The 2024 Super Fest is a landmark event for us, bringing together our flagship games in a celebration of competition, community, and skill. We hope all fans will enjoy the thrilling matches and take part in the many events we have planned, ensuring a memorable experience for everyone.”
