Artist Kyuri Kim will present her latest solo exhibition, SELFNESS, at Yoon Dang Art Hall Gallery in Seoul from February 15 to February 19, 2025. The exhibition, centered around the themes of self-identity and personal authenticity, will be open to the public free of charge from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, except Monday, when the gallery will be closed.

Kyuri Kim has previously held three solo exhibitions since 2022, each presenting a unique narrative within her artistic universe. With SELFNESS, she continues her exploration of individuality, inviting viewers to reflect on the concept of personal identity through her work.

Kim’s academic background plays a significant role in shaping her artistic approach. Initially majoring in humanities, she expanded her studies into design and the emotional aspects of art at Ewha Womans University, where she pursued a master's degree in design. Her interdisciplinary research has influenced her ability to merge human emotions with artistic expression, resulting in deeply introspective works.

Before fully dedicating herself to art, Kim engaged in various social initiatives. In 2018, she launched a suicide prevention project through crowdfunding, combining her interest in fashion design with philanthropy. This early endeavor reflected her commitment to social impact, an aspect that continues to influence her artistic message.

Her recent exhibitions have been instrumental in shaping her artistic world, each contributing to a larger storyline that unfolds through her work. Rather than focusing solely on visual aesthetics, Kim emphasizes storytelling, using her art to communicate messages about identity, perception, and emotional resonance.

In addition to her exhibitions, she actively cultivates her brand by consistently sharing her artistic perspective and color sensibilities with the public. Through social engagement and ongoing projects, she strives to make art an interactive and thought-provoking experience.

As SELFNESS opens at Yoon Dang Art Hall, visitors are expected to have an immersive look at Kyuri Kim’s evolving artistic journey. The exhibition offers visual appreciation and an opportunity to reflect on the complexities of self-expression and individuality in a rapidly changing world.
