In the latest chart preview, Tomorrow X Together's third studio album, "The Name Chapter: Freefall," secured the third position on the prestigious Billboard 200 chart. This achievement marks the ninth time the band has made an appearance on the main albums chart, positioning them as the second-most successful K-pop group in this regard, following only BTS.
The group's incredible year continues, as all three of their albums from this year have also found their place on the Billboard 200 chart. The journey began with their fifth EP, "The Name Chapter: Temptation," which was released in January and made an impressive debut by claiming the top spot on the chart. Notably, it maintained its presence on the chart for an astonishing 19 consecutive weeks.
Their second full album in Japan, "Sweet," achieved a significant milestone by ranking at No. 54 on the Billboard 200 in August. This accomplishment firmly established Tomorrow X Together as the only K-pop act, apart from BTS, to chart with an album released in Japan.
Moreover, the band's latest offering, "The Name Chapter: Freefall," experienced exceptional first-week sales, with over 2.25 million copies sold. The album's remarkable success continued as it claimed the top spot on Oricon's weekly album ranking, marking the band's ninth consecutive album to achieve this impressive feat.
