SM Entertainment, the renowned entertainment agency, has announced that its boy band, Riize, is preparing to release their third single, "Talk Saxy," scheduled for release this Friday.
This single follows the group's previous releases, including the prologue single "Memories," which was unveiled on August 21, and their "official debut" single, "Get A Guitar," which was introduced on September 4.
Described by SM Entertainment as a dance tune, "Talk Saxy" features an infectious saxophone riff that immediately captivates listeners from the intro, complemented by powerful 808 drum sounds. The song is said to revolve around the theme of exploring one's interests in a stranger.
Riize, the boy band, consists of members Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Wonbin, Seunghan, Sohee, and Anton. Notably, two of the members, Shotaro and Sungchan, had previously debuted in 2020 as part of the boy band NCT.
The name "Riize" is a fusion of "rise" and "realize," reflecting a message of making aspirations come true and fostering a team that evolves together while pursuing their dreams, according to the agency.
Riize's "Get A Guitar" single achieved substantial success, with sales exceeding one million copies during its first week of release, establishing a remarkable record as the second-highest-selling debut album by a rookie band.
