Netflix has confirmed that the third season of its hit reality dating show "Single's Inferno" is set to premiere on December 12. This upcoming season, announced to be in preparation since February, follows the conclusion of the second season in January of the current year.
Maintaining its core concept, the third season of "Single's Inferno" will introduce "new rules," though specific details have not been disclosed by the streaming platform.
Dex, a participant from the previous season, will join the hosting team for the upcoming season alongside original hosts: model Hong Jin-kyung, actor Lee Da-hee, Kyuhyun of Super Junior, and rapper Hanhae.
The show revolves around singles searching for love on a deserted island named "Inferno," where electronic devices are prohibited. Contestants are required to prepare their own meals and source water on the island. The only way to leave the island is as a couple, and successful pairs move to a luxurious hotel called "Paradise" for a romantic date night.
The first season of "Single's Inferno" aired from December 18, 2021, to January 8, 2022, while the second season ran from December 13, 2022, to January 10, 2023. Both seasons achieved global success, with the first season becoming the first Korean reality show to enter Netflix's Top 10 list for non-English TV shows. The second season surpassed the accumulated viewing time of the first, reaching almost 6.51 hours of viewership, according to Netflix.
