Aespa, the popular K-pop group, is set to make a comeback in May, as reported by local media on Wednesday.
The group's last album, the fourth EP titled "Drama," achieved significant success, selling over 1.13 million copies. It marked Aespa's third consecutive million-seller, following their second and third EPs, "Girls" and "My World." "Drama" debuted on the Billboard 200 chart at No. 33, maintaining the group's streak of all EPs entering the top 40 on the main albums chart.
Label SM Entertainment has confirmed the quartet's return within the second quarter of this year, without providing specific details.
In addition to their upcoming album release, Aespa is gearing up for their second international tour, titled "Synk: Parallel Line." The tour will kick off with a two-day concert in Seoul in late June, followed by performances in 13 more cities across Asia and Australia.
