Jeong ends his first season with Stuttgart having scored two goals and made three assists, having previously scored on May 4. He made 26 appearances, starting in five games, and accumulated 617 minutes of playing time.
Bayern Munich's center-back Kim Min-jae did not play in Saturday's match. Kim, who joined Bayern with high expectations, struggled to adapt and fell out of the starting lineup after the Asian Cup earlier this year.
Elsewhere in the Bundesliga, Lee Jae-sung's Mainz defeated Wolfsburg 3-1, finishing the season in 13th place and avoiding relegation.
Jeong, Kim, and Lee are expected to reunite soon as they are regular members of the Korean national team. South Korea, currently without a manager, will face Singapore on June 6 and China on June 11 in World Cup qualifiers.
