TWS has been recognized as Billboard’s K-Pop Rookie of the Month for January, marking another major milestone in their meteoric rise. On January 27 (local time), Billboard spotlighted the group in an exclusive feature and interview, praising their distinctive musical style and record-breaking success.

Billboard described TWS as one of the most influential rookie groups of the past year, highlighting how their debut single, "첫 만남은 계획대로 되지 않아" ("Plot Twist"), soared to No.1 on Melon’s 2024 annual chart—an exceptional feat for a newly debuted act.

The publication noted that TWS took a different approach compared to most K-pop boy groups, who often debut with powerful and energetic tracks. Instead, they incorporated elements of future bass, introducing a fresh sonic direction to the industry. "TWS has redefined expectations with their debut sound," Billboard stated, emphasizing the group’s innovative musicality.

Reflecting on their rapid success, member Ji Hoon expressed gratitude, saying, "We are incredibly thankful for all the love we've received from the very beginning. Knowing that so many people resonate with our debut song makes it even more meaningful."

Looking ahead, TWS revealed plans to expand their storyline in 2025. The group aims to showcase their growth and evolving emotions following their initial ‘awkward first meeting’ theme. "We want to explore different musical styles while sharing how we’ve matured and embraced various emotions," they shared.

TWS’s popularity is already translating into strong demand for their live performances. The group is set to hold their first-ever fan meeting, ‘42:CLUB,’ from February 14 to 16 at the Olympic Park Handball Gymnasium in Seoul. All three shows sold out entirely during pre-sales, demonstrating their skyrocketing fanbase.

With their distinct musical identity, rapid commercial success, and ambitious storytelling direction, TWS continues to prove themselves as one of the most promising K-pop acts of their generation.
