A unique new group exhibition called "Art Bodega" has recently opened on East Third Street, offering visitors an innovative blend of gallery viewing and shopping experience. The show, presented jointly by TW Fine Art and CLLCTV, features a carefully curated rotating selection of sculptural objects, functional works, and distinctive pieces that exist in the creative space between traditional art and design.
According to the exhibition organizers, the concept aims to provide a fresh approach to experiencing art in an accessible format. "Shoppers will discover a curated selection of sculptural objects, functional works, and unique pieces that blur the line between art and design," the organizers explained. This innovative format allows visitors to both appreciate artistic works and potentially acquire pieces that function as both art objects and practical items for daily use.
The exhibition is scheduled to run through September 30, with organizers planning to introduce new works throughout the summer months to keep the display fresh and engaging. In addition to the ongoing exhibition, several artist-led workshops are planned as part of the programming, though specific dates and details have not yet been announced. Those interested in updates can follow TW Fine Art's Instagram account for the latest information about new works and upcoming workshop schedules.
The Art Bodega is located at CLLCTV's space at 209 East Third Street, positioned just east of Avenue B in Manhattan's Lower East Side. The exhibition space maintains regular hours, welcoming visitors daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., making it accessible for both daytime art enthusiasts and evening browsers. This marks another creative project for TW Fine Art, which previously gained attention in 2023 for creating the whimsical felt wonderland installation at a local bagel shop, demonstrating their continued commitment to bringing artistic experiences to unexpected neighborhood spaces.
