The special exhibition "Inner" is currently being held at Gallery Dasun’s Exhibition Hall 1, featuring works by three Korean contemporary artists—Choi Seungyoon, Jung Doojin, and Lee Nogang. The exhibition, which runs from January 23 to February 11, 2025, presents a deep exploration of the human inner self and the unconscious mind through each artist’s distinctive visual language.

The three participating artists have recently gained international attention, particularly at One Art Taipei, where their work resonated with audiences for its thought-provoking themes and unique artistic interpretations. Their inclusion in "Inner" further underscores their rising influence in contemporary art, offering viewers an opportunity to engage with pieces that delve into psychological depth and introspective storytelling.

Choi Seungyoon’s works focus on the subtleties of human emotions, capturing fleeting expressions and subconscious movements in a way that evokes both familiarity and abstraction. His compositions often blur the line between realism and the surreal, inviting the viewer into a world that feels both personal and universal.

Jung Doojin, known for his bold use of symbolism and psychological narratives, presents pieces that challenge conventional perspectives on identity and self-perception. His works often incorporate dreamlike elements, reflecting an internal dialogue between conscious awareness and hidden desires.

Lee Nogang explores the depth of human existence through intricate forms and layered textures, creating works that appear both structured and organic. His pieces convey a sense of movement and transformation, symbolizing the continuous evolution of thought and emotion.

Gallery Dasun, located at 44-18, Yangjimaeul 4-ro, Gwacheon-si, has established itself as a space that highlights emerging and mid-career artists who push the boundaries of artistic expression. With "Inner," the gallery invites visitors to reflect on the complexities of the human experience through art that speaks beyond words.

The exhibition serves as a rare opportunity to experience the evolving dialogue between the conscious and the subconscious, as interpreted by three artists who are shaping the contemporary art scene in Korea and beyond. As it runs until February 11, it offers both art enthusiasts and casual visitors a chance to immerse themselves in thought-provoking visual storytelling.
