K-pop sensation RIIZE, under SM Entertainment, is making significant waves in Japan with multiple high-profile collaborations and a groundbreaking performance announcement. The group will headline a special edition of their world tour 'RIIZING LOUD' at Tokyo Dome from February 21-23, 2026, potentially becoming the fastest K-pop boy group to perform at the iconic venue.
This milestone comes amid a series of strategic partnerships in Japan. From December 1-25, RIIZE is partnering with Shibuya109, a major Japanese shopping mall, for a Christmas campaign that includes wrapping the mall's exterior with massive group images and creating interactive pop-up experiences across multiple locations. In another innovative collaboration, the group's cartoon characters 'WE LITTLE RIIZE' will feature in a special exhibition marking the 40th anniversary of popular Japanese character Bonobono.
The unique partnership will showcase character designs that match each RIIZE member's personality, creating significant buzz in both music and animation circles. The group has also been gaining traction through Japanese television, including a special vacation documentary on Fuji TV and an upcoming performance at the 'FNS Song Festival' on December 10th, signaling growing mainstream acceptance in the Japanese entertainment market.
These strategic moves position RIIZE as an emerging global K-pop phenomenon with a keen focus on international expansion and creative cross-cultural engagement.
