Cube Entertainment announced on Tuesday that Yuqi, a member of (G)I-dle, will unveil her first solo album on April 23.
A timeline poster for the EP titled "Yuq1" was released, indicating the release of the B-side track "Could It Be" on Wednesday ahead of the full album release.
Speculation regarding Yuqi's solo debut has been circulating since March, with media reports suggesting an imminent release. Cube Entertainment confirmed the solo debut plans for April.
Yuqi has contributed to the production of several songs for the group and has also lent her vocals to various drama original soundtracks, including "Marry My Husband."
In other news, (G)I-dle's second full album, "Two," debuted at No. 132 on the Billboard 200 chart last month, marking their fourth entry on the chart. The album also achieved success on iTunes, topping the top albums chart in 24 regions and selling over 1.53 million units in its first week.
