Super Junior’s dynamic subunit D&E, comprised of members Donghae and Eunhyuk, is gearing up for the release of their sixth EP, Inevitable, scheduled for September 25, according to an official announcement from their agency, Ode Entertainment, on Thursday. This comeback marks the duo’s return approximately six months after their previous EP, Six Zero Six, which saw significant success, debuting at the top of the iTunes Top Albums Chart in 11 regions.

D&E’s upcoming EP follows a string of activities this year, showcasing their consistent presence in the international music scene. In August, the pair released the single "Promise" in China, and earlier in April, they dropped the digital single “Like That” in Japan. Their promotions in Japan included a successful tour that spanned eight cities and featured 15 performances, drawing enthusiastic crowds and reinforcing their popularity in the region.

Inevitable is expected to highlight D&E’s signature style, blending powerful dance tracks with emotive ballads, reflecting their versatile range as performers. Fans are eagerly anticipating how the duo will push their musical boundaries with this latest release.

Meanwhile, Super Junior as a whole is in the midst of their Asia tour, Super Show Spinoff: Halftime. The tour, which kicked off in Seoul this past June, has taken the group through six cities across Asia with a total of 10 performances. The next stop on their tour will be in Jakarta, where they are set to perform this Saturday.

D&E’s return with Inevitable adds to an already busy year for Super Junior, as the group continues to dominate both individual and group activities. The duo’s unique chemistry, honed over years of performing together, remains a strong point of appeal for fans worldwide.

The new EP is expected to build on the success of Six Zero Six, further cementing D&E's position as one of the most successful subunits in K-pop. With their international fanbase eagerly awaiting new music, the release of Inevitable is poised to make a significant impact.

As Super Junior continues to perform globally with their Asia tour, the excitement surrounding D&E's new EP release adds to the momentum of one of K-pop's most enduring acts.
