Online discussions deemed it inappropriate for IU to use the title "Love Wins," associated with the LGBTQ community and widely recognized for commemorating the 2015 United States Supreme Court decision legalizing same-sex marriage.
In the agency's statement, they expressed a decision to alter the title to show respect and support for diverse expressions of love. The change aims to address concerns that the original title might blur the intended message of the song. The statement emphasized the agency's hope that the song's original message is conveyed without causing any harm, emphasizing the universal concept that "every love wins all in the world with no hatred."
IU is scheduled to embark on the "H.E.R" world tour in March, with stops planned in 17 cities globally, including Seoul, Singapore, London, and Los Angeles.
