Boynextdoor, a rising K-pop group under KOZ Entertainment, has released a series of teaser images for their highly anticipated third EP, "19.99." The teaser photos, shared on Friday, showcase the vibrant and confident concept embodied in the focus track "Nice Guy." A total of 28 images were revealed as part of the "Nice" version, capturing the group's youthful energy and free-spirited attitude.
The group plans to unveil another set of visuals over the weekend for the "Dangerous" version, hinting at the B-side track of the same name. This track is scheduled to be released on September 2, a week ahead of the full EP drop. The dual concepts of "Nice" and "Dangerous" reflect the band's exploration of contrasting themes as they approach the milestone age of 20, which is central to the album's theme.
"19.99" is set to feature seven tracks, with the band members contributing to the writing of five songs, including the title track. The EP delves into the thoughts and emotions of young adults on the cusp of adulthood, a journey that Boynextdoor poignantly captures through their music.
In addition to their upcoming release, Boynextdoor made a significant international appearance last week at Summer Sonic 2024, one of Japan's largest music festivals. Their performance in Tokyo marked their debut on the global festival stage, further establishing their presence in the international music scene.
With their third EP on the horizon and a growing international footprint, Boynextdoor is poised to continue their upward trajectory in the K-pop industry. Their involvement in the creative process of "19.99" also highlights their evolution as artists, offering fans a deeper connection to their music and message.
