Hybe, the powerhouse behind K-pop sensation BTS, recently concluded its highly anticipated two-day Weverse Con Festival, leaving fans exhilarated and craving more. The multi-label company orchestrated the grand event at Seoul's Olympic Park, hosting a captivating lineup of performances by its affiliated artists and special guests. This marked a significant milestone for Hybe as it ventured into its first-ever outdoor festival, attracting music enthusiasts from near and far.

The festival's program was thoughtfully divided into two segments each day, ensuring an unforgettable experience for attendees. The Weverse Festival took place during the afternoons on the spacious 88 Lawn Field, while the Weverse Con unfolded in the evening within the state-of-the-art KSPO Dome. For those on the field, the Weverse Con was broadcast in real-time on a large screen, transforming the open space into an immersive Live Play zone.

The Weverse Con Festival, an expansion of Hybe's annual joint-label concert, featured an impressive roster of artists. The stage came alive with performances by notable names such as Tomorrow X Together, Lee Hyun, fromis_9, Hwang Min-hyun, Baekho, Enhypen, NewJeans, Zico, Dvwn, Boynextdoor, Bumzu, and &Team. This year, the festival welcomed several newcomers from outside of Hybe, including Hyolyn, Jeremy Zucker, Lightsum, BTOB, Xia, and Moonchild, further enriching the diverse lineup.

During Sunday's Weverse Festival, the captivating rock sounds of boy band Tomorrow X Together resonated through the air, drawing a massive crowd of music enthusiasts. The audience, a mix of seated fans savoring the moment and energetic supporters bouncing and cheering, filled the grass field with infectious excitement. Renee Arseneault, an avid fan of TXT attending the festival for the second time, expressed her overwhelming experience. Accompanied by her colleague, she emphasized the inclusive nature of the event, enabling enjoyment for both avid fans and casual observers.

The festival also attracted international attendees who seized the opportunity to witness the spectacle of K-pop. Sofia Mora, a university exchange student from Mexico and a devoted fan of BTS and Enhypen, shared her delight at the rare chance to attend a K-pop concert. She expressed her gratitude for being able to witness performances from numerous artists in one place, as concerts by K-pop acts are scarce in her home country. Sofia's sentiment echoed among many fans who had previously traveled to the United States to experience such a musical extravaganza.

A special highlight of the Weverse Con took the form of a "Tribute Stage" dedicated to K-pop diva Uhm Jung-hwa, in celebration of her 30th anniversary in the industry. Young and talented K-pop acts graced the stage, covering Uhm's beloved songs. The 53-year-old singer-actor made appearances on both nights, delivering mesmerizing performances. On Saturday, she collaborated with girl group Le Sserafim for a memorable rendition of "Ending Credit," while on Sunday, she showcased her solo prowess with a captivating rendition of "Hop In."

Hybe, with its extensive reach and influence in the global music industry, plans to continue the Weverse Con Festival in the years to come, promising even more remarkable performances from a multitude of artists. As the company's star-studded roster continues to captivate fans worldwide, Hybe's commitment to fostering an inclusive and thrilling concert experience remains unwavering.
